Happy New Year!
I know, it’s February and I’m wishing you a happy new year but we have been so busy and I’m just starting to catch up on things.
This post is full of pictures so I will TRY to keep the writing brief.
First, Thank you to everyone who helped us clear out our studio by purchasing items we listed in our flash sale. We can’t thank you enough because you made it so much easier for us to work on and in that space. And speaking of work, a HUGE thank you to these two guys, Karen’s husband and son, for making our new studio vision a reality.
I’ll share more pics of the studio and some of the features on another day, but this space is so refreshing! It’s nice to go into 2017 with everything organized AND a little kitchen area too!
We have lots of new items for sale in the shop. Here’s a look. If you have any questions about these pieces, please stop in the shop Tuesday to Thursday, 10am to 6pm or Friday & Saturday 10am to 4pm. Or contact us.
If you’ve been in our shop before, or if you’ve attended one of our workshops, you may have seen this dining room set in the back corner of our studio. We have to thank Sam for helping us get this project finished! Sam started as an intern in our shop and then worked part-time for us. We are happy to say that over the winter break Sam graduated from Kent State University and she was hired as a full time graphic artist for a local company. Sadly, this means Sam is no longer with us but we are so happy for her! We miss you already Sam. 🙂
And I am happy to say the dining set was SOLD in just a few days, to one of our sweet and loyal customers.
Before our remodeling project we realized that we needed a bigger Wise Owl Paint display. So we moved into this awesome Mid-Century cabinet and we love it! We have EVERY single of the 38 paint colors in stock now AND a variety of waxes and glazes. Pints are $18 each and waxes start at $12.
I also have to give our friend Brian a shout-out for making these old window cabinets a reality! We gave him some old windows we had in the basement along with an inspiration picture and he worked his magic.
We have two hanging in our studio and this third one is for sale in the shop. We added glass vintage knobs and Brian added magnetic closures to the doors too.
This might be my favorite update, meet Sheamus!! Karen’s new bulldog/beagle pup who you may find in the shop on occasion. He is precious and I just LOVE him. Look at that bow tie!
Our 2017 workshops are under way! Thank you to this group of ladies for booking the first private workshop of the year.
And to finish this full blog post, we have a new workshop listed! This one is Easter and Spring-themed.
You’ll get to paint and decorate your own wooden handmade rabbit silhoutte(s). One for $35 or two for $50. Click here for more information or to purchase tickets.
